Disappointing
There was no breakfast.No cups no glasses and no coffee or tea.The shower however was very hot and all told the hotel was better than most of the reviews but very basic.

Good location just don't expect a lot.
Location is great if you want to be close to British Museum and that general area. Felt very safe in the area.
As others have said, it really is pretty basic. Bed was OK and at least no bed bugs like Paris! Shower was just about useable and shared toilet was OK. Evening staff could have been a little more pleasant and less grumpy but wasn't expecting too much and at least there was someone at the desk.

cheap for London midweek
1 step up from a hostel. Old warn out room. think prison cell that you can leave. really basic lodgings. having said that it's 20 to 30 pound cheaper than any private room in the city. at 58 pound you have to accept what you get. wouldn't stay longer than 1 night. but it's a bed and a roof. receptionist was pleasant enough.

For what we pay, its a decent little place to put your head down when in London.
For its location, its was great value for money and what we needed it. a bed and shower facilities. Have stayed in this hotel 3 times and it does meet our expectations.
The property has a sister property 3 doors down but there is no Wifi. Wifi should be installed especially for visitors when wanting to look at attraction times ect ect.
